But at 33, that’s exactly what happened.
And it's the very reason I love helping speakers get better opportunities and command higher rates...
I believe speakers have the power to transform lives
I know this to be true because at 33 I had my fixed mindset unlocked by a Hall of Fame speaker, Brian Tracy.
A year later...
- I had read 50 new books
- Quit smoking after 15 years,
- Lost 72lbs… I was 233lbs on a 5'7" frame; down to a healthy 161
My life was completely transformed because I took action on what I learned from this amazing speaker.
I Remember when it hit me...
"Oh my gosh!" I said out loud.
"A cassette tape changed my entire life. How long has this been around?"
It was 2012 when I discovered this program — they didn’t even make cassettes anymore.
So how long had this life-changing message been out there, just waiting for me to find it?
Turns out it was originally published in 1984.
When I was just six years old.
It was a gut punch.
Oh my gosh. What if I learned this stuff sooner.
How much pain, struggle, and stagnation could I have avoided?
How much better could my life be now — if I had only known?
And I get it — “When the student is ready; the teacher shall appear.”
But still...
What could have been said or done to help me be ready sooner?
And how many other people are suffering needlessly, when the exact solution they need is out there; simply because they didn’t know, or don’t believe it will help?
That moment lit a fire in me
I had been learning and providing marketing, branding, and copywriting for several years at this point. But now it was different. I had a mission.
In this, moment I made a commitment to a question…
“If someone has a story or solution that can transform lives… how do we get it into the hearts and minds of the people who need it most — and move them to take the action required for real transformation?”
That’s the question I’ve been answering ever since.
It became an Obsession
It’s taken me on the most incredible journey of discovery and fulfillment.
It’s led me to become an expert in competitor-proof positioning and authentic messaging that moves people to beneficial action.
It even led me to my life’s work.
Something I call...

He’s booked out 18 months in advance at $10,000+/day — and has made over a million dollars just from speaking fees in the last 5 years alone.
Which led me to Helping Other Speakers
